Woychik took a series of blog posts and wove them into a useful reference for writers and editors. Her reading style is clear and concise, but never think that it is fluff; in those blog posts is enough information to get potential writers off the diving board and into the deep end of the writing pool. Woychik offers wisdom from main stream authors and editors as well as sound counsel from her own successful career into writing and editing. The book is not long, but the information is dense.
I would recommend The Book of Common Sense Writing as an essential resource for beginners and seasoned writers and editors. Wohchik’s perspective is refreshing, helpful and encouraging.
