Out of the Box

I love this post…so encouraging.


In today’s society, it’s easy to label people. If we look closely, we can see the downfall of compassion, love, caring and raw energy of human emotions. We see it happening with the evolution of cell phones, texting, emails, computers, drive thru window, atms, automated menus and on and on… the art of human contact, emotions and feelings  are being replaced with a picture perfect image of ourselves the we can hide behind.
For those who don’t fit the mold… well they get the big LABEL stamped on their file.
“MENTALLY ILL”.  we don’t fit into societies “perfect box.” and then the lines blurrrrrrrrrrr…For so long we’ve tried to keep family members who are suffering a secret, to find a magic pill to cure their issues, to pretend it doesn’t exist, or worse, classify these people “different” and stick them into a a box.
